

In January 2008 Yorkshire Building Society commissioned The Digital Consortium to carry out the creative direction, design and technical build of its HTML email marketing campaigns and landing pages for campaigns for an initial 12 month period. The online campaigns are driven by acquisition and retention email marketing and online advertising across the world wide web.

Each HTML we design and build for Yorkshire Building Society is for a specific campaign; there may be variations of each email – targeting different types of audiences (new customers or existing customers). Every email we build is tested across all the major email clients (Outlook 2007, 2003 and Express, Hotmail, Googlemail/Gmail, AOL, Yahoo and so on). We also make sure that the online version is checked across browsers.

Each email and online advertising campaign that Yorkshire Building Society send out directs the target audience to a landing website that provides them with consistency of user journey, reinforcing relevance to site visitors and providing them with further information and further calls-to-action that can be tracked in and out of the landing site.
